Get your badge

When you've marked all your homework actions complete, you'll be put on the list of badge recipients. Within a few days, you'll receive an email with a link to claim your badge.

You'll be able to:

  • Add the badge to your LinkedIn profile and other social networks
  • Send it to potential employers
  • Download a verifiable PDF version with details of your skills (download a sample)

When people click the badge, they'll see a description of the course and the main skills you practiced.

The email with your badge will come from

We process badges once per week, so it may take a few days for you to get the email.

Accepting and sharing your badge

Create an account

When you get your badge email, click the link. You'll go to the Open Badge Passport site.

If you already have an account, log in. If you don't, click Create an account.

Once you're in the site, accept your badge.

Make your badge public

By default, only you can see your badge. To share your badge with employers or social media, you need to change its visibility to "public."

Make your badge public

Then, the simplest way to share your accomplishments is to make your Open Badge Passport profile public and share its URL. (The URL shown below is for a test user; copy your URL instead.)
